Large crowds gathered in Hulhumale’ on Wednesday night to watch the New Year’s drone show and festivities taking place in the Central Park area.
The park was packed with people of all ages, many spending the evening with their families as they enjoyed the celebrations. Children’s laughter and excitement filled the area as the drone show began at 22:00.
The show featured a series of scenes inspired by Maldivian culture, tourism and marine life, including sea creatures and other visually striking displays. The performance was based on a story narrated by a child, a detail that organisers said contributed to its warm reception among the audience.
